Let’s consider those responsible for foisting the Apricot Authoritarian – Donald Trump – upon us.

The first are his parents, who procreated despite the interpersonal dysfunction and poor emotional intelligence that accompanies undiagnosed toxic mental health issues, creating a malignant narcissist: a distant mother who occasionally used her two youngest children to self-soothe instead of soothing them; an abusive father, a psychopath and tyrant, whose wealth was built upon grifting federal housing programs with the power of personal proximity to political crooks.

Education didn’t temper his toxic tendencies: the New York Military Academy solidified Trump’s love of being a bully that ruled over others with cruelty, ridicule and force. Wharton enabled his ego by graduating an academic failure due to familial wealth and the purpose of being rid of him.

The banks who financed his business activities enabled his failures (with prodding from his wealthy father, who also bailed out his golden boy repeatedly) by continuing to lend money to the prodigal loser and allowing him to restructure his bankrupt companies over and over again instead of liquidating and calling it a day. An assist by federal business laws enabled his grift of investors by siphoning off millions before each bankruptcy filing leaving them to hold the empty bag instead.

The media released him on the public like a recurring plague over several decades: the New York Daily News, whose front page carried his image several times a week in the late 1980s during his shamelessly public adulterous affair and impending divorce, led him to believe he was a celebrated playboy rather than an emergent debauched deviant.

Prime time television created “reality tv” for the masses who don’t understand how fictional televised programming works, providing him with an entertainment platform called The Apprentice where they pretend a “Great Businessman” fires struggling actors, er… fledgling entrepreneurial contestants, at the end of each episode for the malevolent spectacle desired by America’s increasingly debased viewing inclinations.

The hegemony of news media conglomerates, whose focus on ratings that line their pockets with advertising profits, promoted the performance of Donald Trump the Politician as the Greatest Show on Earth regardless of him being the Biggest Degenerate Our Country is Hoping to Survive in the early 21^st century.

The devolving Republican Party, having discarded all pretense of being the Grand Old Party of the past in concerted effort to become the defunct Grand Olde Party of the present by backing an unrelenting criminal and aspiring fascist who is a clear and present danger to our Republic like cultists preparing to drink the poisoned Kool-Aid in some banana republic because all they care about is the Promise of Naked Power.

The Electoral College, which fucks us all by permitting geography rather than We, the People to elect our president because the framers of our Constitution were wealthy white men afraid of the uneducated rural masses using direct Democracy while trying to placate elite Southern Slaveholders by enabling unequal power in Congress that relied on the codified oppression that was the “freedom” of a country’s penchant for base human enslavement. This institution gave us a president who lost the popular vote by millions of votes.

The current Supreme Court, led by an arrogant Chief Justice working diligently to overtake the infamy of the 19th century’s Roger Taney, topped off with privileged liars and partisan states’ rights assholes from the last three Republican administrations who pretend to be “Constitutional Originalists” yet aspire to be king-makers by deciding this former president was above the law and had immunity for being a treasonous criminal while president, creating a new precedent out of whole cloth unsupported by the United States Constitution or any laws passed by the Legislative Branch.

And let us not forget the American people: citizens of the United States of America who vote with their hate, their bigotry, their ignorance, their Christofascism, their desire to control and punish others, their lack of understanding and empathy, their failure to know or remember political history, their inability to see beyond right fucking now, and their plain fucking stupidity because it supports their current beliefs, biases, prejudices, and gripes about the world around them while bootlicking for the folks who have those same boots placed firmly on their collaborators’ necks.

The American people who aren’t genuinely disenfranchised but can’t be bothered to vote because they hold some shitty, single-minded or inflexible position about how “voting doesn’t matter” or refuse to be informed so they “don’t understand the issues” and thereby won’t engage their civic duty. Or those who vote for 3rd parties as a “protest vote” because they don’t like a particular policy of the party with which they might otherwise align because the fucking stars must completely align for them to support a candidate with a dichotomous chance of actually winning an election, those who basically don’t give a shit about how the election outcome will impact anyone else in the real world to support their abstruse belief systems. And those misogynists who wouldn’t vote for the woman because they “just didn’t like her.”

These are all the fuckers who gave us the loathsome blight that is Donald Trump. And these are all the fuckers who won’t be forgiven, even once his kids bury him on his shitty golf course next to his first wife without a headstone, so we don’t have to see his deplorable orange mug ever again.
